MURALE DESIGN BUYING GUIDE

How to choose a wall mural company in Canada

A beautiful image is only the beginning. Materials, printing, file preparation and support determine the quality of the finished result.

8 criteria to compare before buying

A reliable company should clearly explain what it prints, how it prepares your order, and what happens if your image or wall is unsuitable.

1

Material

Ask whether it is matte or glossy, textured or smooth, self-adhesive or pasted, and which surfaces it is designed for.

2

Printing method

Interior wall printing should provide consistent colour, a clean finish and good handling resistance.

3

Image quality

Resolution must be evaluated at final size. A file that looks fine when small can become blurry once enlarged.

4

Custom sizing

The mural should be prepared for your wall, with cropping that preserves the important parts of the image.

5

Installation

Check wall preparation, panel width, whether the material can be repositioned, and what help is available.

6

Compatible surfaces

A smooth, painted, clean and fully dry wall offers the best conditions. Highly textured walls often require another product.

7

Pre-print service

Human review of the file and crop reduces surprises before production.

8

Warranty and support

The company should clearly explain covered defects, the claim process and the support available after purchase.

Why these criteria matter

Price per square foot does not tell the whole story. Two murals made from the same image can differ greatly in appearance, installation and useful life. Compare the complete product: preparation, material, printing, guidance and support.

How Murale Design addresses these criteria

The Murale Design team has more than 20 years of experience in signage and graphic design. Murals are produced on self-adhesive, matte, textured vinyl using latex printing. Every customer-supplied image is reviewed before printing to identify resolution or cropping problems.

  • Sizing adapted to the wall
  • Self-adhesive material installed without water or paste
  • Matte, textured finish without strong glare
  • Image review before production
  • Support for residential and commercial projects
  • Standard shipping generally included in Canada and the United States; exceptions and U.S. customs duties may apply

Questions to ask before ordering

Is my image large enough?

Ask for validation at final size. Murale Design reviews submitted files and contacts the customer if quality may be unsuitable.

Can I install the mural on my wall?

The standard product is intended for smooth surfaces such as painted drywall. Contact the team before ordering for textured or unusual surfaces.

What size should I order?

Measure width and height in several places. The calculator adds a safety margin to cover small wall variations.

What if my project is unusual?

A business, RV, textured wall or unusual environment may require a different material. Describe the project before production.
